OLADUNNI OLUSOLA ADETONA, MCIPM
CHAIRMAN
Mrs. Oladunni Olusola Adetona is a seasoned public administrator and human resource professional with a strong record of service and leadership in the Ogun State Civil Service. A native of Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, she brings to the CIPM Ogun State Branch a wealth of experience, dedication, and a passion for professional excellence.
She began her academic journey at St. Bernedette’s Private School, Ibara, Abeokuta, and proceeded to Abeokuta Girls’ Grammar School, Onikolobo, for her secondary education. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science (Second Class Honours) from the University of Ibadan, earned in 2001, and a Master’s degree in Personnel Relations from the same institution in 2017.
Mrs. Adetona completed her mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Aba, Abia State between 2001 and 2002. She joined the Ogun State Civil Service on August 20, 2003, as an Administrative Officer and has steadily risen through the ranks. She currently serves as the Director of Administration and Supplies at the Ogun State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure.
A Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Mrs. Adetona has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the growth of the institute. She has previously served the Ogun State Branch in various capacities, including as Financial Secretary, General Secretary, and Vice Chairman, before her current role as Chairman.
Mrs. Adetona is known for her integrity, organizational acumen, and people-oriented leadership style. She is happily married.
BISIOLU AZEEM, ACIPM
P.R.O.
Mr. Bisiolu A. Azeem is an accomplished Human Resource professional with over a decade of experience spanning both the manufacturing and service industries. Renowned for his strategic administrative competence and problem-solving acumen, he has consistently supported organizations and colleagues in addressing diverse HR challenges with practical, value-driven solutions.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from a reputable Nigerian institution and is currently pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Relations from an international university. His professional journey is marked by a strong commitment to aligning HR functions with organizational strategic objectives, thereby contributing to sustainable business outcomes.
An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Mr. Azeem has distinguished himself as a passionate advocate for professional growth and membership development within the institute. He is a regular facilitator for HR training sessions across Ogun and Lagos States and plays a significant role in encouraging aspiring HR professionals to attain CIPM certification.
His dedication to the growth of the institute earned him a leadership position at the CIPM Ota Chapter, where he currently serves with distinction. Over the years, he has served in various capacities, including as Assistant General Secretary/Public Relations Officer and now as the Branch’s Public Relations Officer.
Mr. Azeem has also contributed meaningfully to the Ogun State Branch, serving as a planning committee member for the Annual Branch Conference and as a discussant at several professional events. His commitment, energy, and leadership continue to make a positive impact on the CIPM community.
SEAN OLABODE BADIRU, MCIPM
IMMEDIATE PAST CHAIRMAN
Sean Olabode Badiru is an Enterprise Transformation Architect and Chief Executive Officer of Africa Tech Hub Ltd. He works with boards, executive teams and institutional leaders to strengthen strategy execution, organisational performance, digital capability and sustainable growth. His work helps organisations align strategy, governance, people, performance, technology, customer engagement and operating systems to deliver and sustain enterprise value.
His work is grounded in the belief that sustainable performance is built through alignment. Rather than treating strategy, governance, culture, technology, people, performance and the market as separate agendas, he examines how they interact across the enterprise and where misalignment is limiting execution, adaptability, growth and value creation.
For over two decades, Sean’s work has spanned organisational transformation, strategy execution, corporate governance, performance management, workforce capability, leadership, culture, digital transformation and growth. This breadth enables him to connect issues that are often addressed in isolation and help leaders strengthen the systems, capabilities and decisions that shape enterprise performance.
Sean also brings significant experience in market development, audience acquisition, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications and publishing. He has successfully used both traditional and digital channels to build new audiences, expand participation, generate opportunities and support organisational growth.
His consulting and executive education work in Nigeria has included engagements with organisations and institutions such as the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, Bank of Industry, Dangote Cement Plc, BUA Cement Plc, Ogun State Government, Intercontinental Distillers, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and the Redeemed Christian Church of God, amongst others.
As Chief Executive Officer of Africa Tech Hub, Sean leads advisory, executive education and transformation engagements focused on enterprise performance, organisational capability and technology-enabled change. His work with technology and artificial intelligence is centred on where they create real enterprise value, how work and decision-making should change around them, and the capabilities and governance required to translate adoption into measurable outcomes.
He has held senior editorial leadership roles in publishing and now leads Edge360, a strategic communications and digital media company. This experience complements his broader work in stakeholder engagement, brand development and audience growth.
Sean is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development, a Life Member of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria, and serves on the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria. A Chartered Engineer by formation, he holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with executive education from the University of Illinois, Yale University and Lagos Business School.
Beyond his corporate work, Sean is the Founder of SkillUp and remains committed to developing young professionals through mentoring and leadership development.
